As part of the iconic Oris Jazz series, this Oris James Morrison AoM Limited Edition is inspired by Australian jazz musician James Morrison and his James Morrison Academy of Music, a jazz-centric school in Australia where the musician himself co-designs the curriculum and lectures the students lucky enough to attend. The musician and his legendary trumpet take centre stage on the watch’s design with the brass instrument found on the case back of the watch in the shape of the Academy of Music’s logo and on the dial in the shape of an elegant rose gold counterweight modelled after the trumpet’s finger hook.

The dial of the Oris James Morrison AoM Limited Edition watch continues to impress with a dramatic blue ‘degrade’ finish, breathtaking rose gold hands coated in Superluminova and elegant Arabic numerals. The classic simplicity of the dial perfectly complements the rest of the aesthetic like the perfectly sized 38mm stainless steel case, scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective treatment and sophisticated black leather strap and folding buckle with push button release. Hidden within the case is the Oris 733 autoamtic winding movement, a Swiss made calibre based on the legendary Sellita SW200-1 which provides classic hour, minute and seconds hands and a power reserve of 38 hours.
